WILDLIFE WATCHERS MEET JILLY COOPER

Stroud area Wildlife Watch group had a fantastic day last weekend conducting a garden bird watch with Jilly Cooper in her own garden for the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch.

Jilly was delighted to be able to show the children around her beautifully kept wildlife garden, complete with a wildlife pond and streams running through it. She has four different bird-feeding areas at which the children were able to spot, amongst others, a jay, grey wagtail and a treecreeper.

The children had a great day and gave Jilly some thank you cards they had made themselves.
