Players from Cheltenham Town Football Club took time out of their busy training session to support Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s 2011 Wear your Wellies for Wildlife campaign.

James Brown, Media Officer for the Club said “Cheltenham Town FC is delighted to support Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust in this fundraising campaign, all the players urge everyone to get their wellies on and support wildlife during October”.

“We are delighted that the Robins are wearing their wellies for wildlife, we hope they remember to swap their wellies for boots when they play Dagenham and Redbridge this weekend!” Says Jan Ryder of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.

Wear your Wellies for Wildlife is a fun way of raising fun and awareness for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and each year hundreds of people raise money for local nature conservation projects by wearing their wellies for the day, from local school children to businesses and beyond.

Anyone can take part and you can receive their ‘fun’raising pack by contacting Jan Ryder on 01452 383333 or emailing janet.ryder@gloucestershirewildlifetrust.co.uk.
