Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust has an ambition to recruit six Young Ambassadors to form a Young Ambassadors Board. We want to hear what young people have to say about how the environment can be protected and how nature can thrive. We want to empower young people to be involved in the decision making and governance of the organisation as well as helping us to build on our ongoing commitment to a more diverse and inclusive culture at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust. We recognise that young people today are the charity leaders of the future.
We will develop the Young Ambassadors’ Board as we go and our Young Ambassadors recruited to the board will be key to this. The Young Ambassadors will work closely and be supported by our Board of Trustees and key Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust staff.
