The Hare Festival Way Official Launch in Cirencester on Saturday March 19th 2016 11am to 12.30pm

Thursday 17th March 2016

Join us for the opening and inaugural walk of the Hare Festival Way - the new nature trail for Cirencester. This fantastic new walking route has been created by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust in partnership with Cirencester Town Council and Gloucestershire County Council. The project was funded by the Cirencester Hare Festival, which was promoted by the Cirencester Community Development Trust, and leaves a lasting legacy for the town.

Be one of the first people to walk the route, guided by wildlife experts from GWT. Explore the newly opened City bank glade, sit on the wildlife bench and spot the seven decorated hares and learn about the wildlife of Cirencester. The walk will finish at the Corinium museum where there will be refreshments and a chance to see future plans for Cirencester’s green spaces, the Hare Festival and join the new local wildlife group.
