Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust work experienceGloucestershire Wildlife Trust work experience

We offer challenging and enjoyable work experience opportunities in our office as well as on nature reserves.

Work experience is an excellent way to learn about working life, get hands-on experience in your potential career path and identify your skills and passion.

Who can apply for work experience?

Anyone over the age of 14 in full-time education.

Often your school will support and guide you in finding the right work experience placement.

How long does work experience last?

Usually up to one week, depending on your school.

Will I be paid?

No, work experience is unpaid.

It's a way for you to volunteer your time and gain knowledge to help you in your career decisions.

What work will I be doing?

We'll give you as much experience as possible and will ensure you meet staff members working in different areas within the Trust.

You may help at an event, assist in data entry, engage in our social media channels, join our gardening volunteers planting and weeding or go to a nature reserve.

How do I apply?

Get in touch with our Volunteer Coordinator by email or contact us to find out more about our work experience placements and the application process.
