Running for Wildlife

Running for Wildlife

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust is looking for people to Run for Wildlife next year. With 2012 being Olympic year why not make a New Years resolution to get fitter and set yourself a running challenge?

We have various races throughout the year you can enter from fun runs in the Forest of Dean to 10k in the Cotswolds or Half Marathons in Stroud, Tewkesbury and the Forest.

Most dates for 2012 races haven’t yet been finalised but here are a list of ones that have:

  • Forest of Dean Half Marathon Sunday 1st April 2012
  • Tewkesbury Half Marathon Sunday 20th May 2012. 9.30am start and 5 mile fun run.
  • Trailblazer Forest of Dean 10K Saturday 26th May 2012

Whether you want to take part for fun, with friends, or to set a personal best, why not raise money for us to help conserve the wildlife and wild places of our beautiful county?

In agreeing to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship money, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust will pay your registration fee and also provide you with a specially designed vest.

It might be you have secured a place at next years London Marathon and haven’t picked a charity to run for yet, in which case please consider Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
