Staunton Meend Heathland Restoration Project has been underway for twelve years on common land owned by Staunton Parish Council. After nearly 50 years of neglect the site had become a birch and bracken wilderness, The Project's aim is to return the Meend to an acid grass/heathland and this talk will cover the sources of expertise and labour, funding, management regime, difficulties and current position.

This event is organised by the Forest of Dean Group of the GWT.
