Fri, 16/02/2018 - 7:30pm - 9:30pm

As part of the Foresters' Forest project we are aiming to carry out basic habitat surveys of the 200 known ponds around the Forest of Dean and create an inventory of our pond network. With help from the local community we aim to find unknown ponds and add them to the national database and maybe even create new ones. We will aim to carry out newt and other wildlife surveys to try and measure the success of our project. The talk will detail the methodology of the project and how we can all get involved.

This event is organised by the Forest of Dean Group of the GWT.
