Walk leaders Crickley

Location: Crickley Hill, near Birdlip, Gloucestershire and Robinswood Hill in Gloucester

Opportunity type:

Available: Any day

Duration: From 01/08/2017 to 01/08/2018

Inspire others to love nature through our guided walks.

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in putting their people skills to use and become a guided walk leader at Crickley Hill. We already have a successful team at Greystones Farm in Bourton-on-the-Water, who take local groups on a tour of the important wildlife and archaeological features of the reserve. We want to set-up similar guided walks elsewhere in the County.

We would provide training and a template to lead the guided walk so you don't have to be an expert, although we always appreciate any local knowledge you may have. This would be a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a new hobby or a young professional looking to gain better communication skills and wildlife knowledge for their C.V.

We have no set commitment level but being available to run at least one guided tour a month would be ideal, this could be on a weekday or weekend.
