An Introduction to Woodland Ecology

Venue: Lower Woods Nature Reserve

Lower Woods Nature Reserve SSSI is one of the most extensive and species rich areas in the SW. This field course will introduce the wide variety of plant species present in the ancient semi-natural woodland and will concentrate on explaining factors that affect the distribution of woodland plants, including geology and micro-climate. Led by Dr Mike Martin. A simple lunch and delicious cake are included in the price. Minimum age 16.
