This Bank Holiday join Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust for a NEW and FREE fun family event at Robinswood Hill Country Park, incorporating a dog show organised by Teckels Animal Sanctuaries on Sunday, 3rd May 2015 11am – 3pm.

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust President and BBC TV Presenter Ellie Harrison will be guest of honour on the day taking part in wildlife activities and judging some of the classes in the dog show.

The day has been organised by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust in partnership with the Friends of Robinswood Hill and Teckels Animal Sanctuaries as part of the All Paths Lead to the Hill project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Taking place in Robinswood Hill Country Park, Reservoir Road, Gloucester, GL4 6SX the day will includes fun nature adventures run by the Wildlife Trust, such as; pond dipping, ‘what does an owl eat?’ and minibeast hunts.

“Come and discover the wildlife in this beautiful country park and enjoy far reaching views over the City.” Says event organiser Nicky Simpson. “Robinswood Hill is Gloucester’s back garden, so come and discover its wildlife from mice to millipedes!”

Bring your dog along to enter a variety of fun dog show classes or the timed ‘scurry’. Fun dog show classes are £1 per class, per dog entered on the day. Book in advance at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s Robinswood Hill office to take advantage of an early bird (cash only) discount.
