Location: Robinswood Hill Country Park, Gloucester and Crickley Hill, near Birdlip

Opportunity type: Café assistant

Available: Weekends

Duration: From 01/08/2016 to 06/09/2018

Join our Crickley Hill and Robinswood Hill cafe team at one of our countryside cafes.

Our cafes are set in two locations which offer amazing views and walks to visitors of these wildlife hot spots. Both sites are therefore hugely popular, especially at weekends and during the school holidays.

We are looking for volunteers to help out at both, in particular at Crickley which is the busier of the two. No experience is needed as we can provide training. Volunteers, however, need to be happy with talking to the public and working in an environment that may get busy. If you think you would be able to spare a few hours of your day to help out at one of our cafés please let us know. This does not have to be every week, any time you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

The money raised from sales at the cafés will go towards protecting local wildlife and their native homes throughout the County.

Food Festival

We're also looking for volunteers to help run our first Food Festival at Crickley Hill on October 8th. We will have a number of local food suppliers selling their products from cheeses to cakes.  The festival will be a family event and we will be running family activities from outdoor games, face painting and live music.  We need volunteers to help not only in our cafe but also to set up and assist with running some of these family activities. We need volunteers between 10 am and 4:30 pm
