About the event

Beavers were extinct in the UK since the time of The Tudor monarchs but since 2022 beavers have begun to be reintroduced in some parts of the country.

Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust have been running a feasibility study to assesses the viability of having wild-living beavers in Gloucestershire. This study has used multiple ways of assessing the impact, desirabilty and possibility of bringing beavers back to the county. This has been done through a variety of biological, ecological and social research methods And results are starting to come in.

Dee Durham, Beaver Feasibility Co-Ordinator for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, will be giving a talk on the current findings of the study and where the project to reintroduce beavers to Gloucestershire currently finds itself.

We expect this event to be popular so get your tickets while you can. (It will also be available via Livestream at Facebook. for those who can't attend)"
