About the event
Every two months, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust meets to discuss a different book with a focus on Wildlife and nature. Its a great oppourtunity to get yourself reading, mull over some big ideas and chat to know some great people.
Each session starts at 1.30pm and lasts until 2.30pm. It's a laid back approach where everyone can have a chance to share your thoughts or just listen if you prefer. Each session will be lead by either a Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust staff member or volunteer, who will be there to help the conversation move along smoothly, as we all know how difficult it can be being the first to speak in any gathering.
This Month we're discussing:
"To Have or To Hold: Nature's Hidden Relationships" by Sophie Pavelle -
What can nature teach us about living together? Investigating eight symbiotic relationships trying to survive the climate and biodiversity crises, Sophie Pavelle explains why it has never been more vital for us to understand symbiosis. Symbiotic relationships regulate ecosystems, strengthen resilience and bind pivotal connections, and nature thrives on relationships as glamorous as they are grotesque and as bizarre as they are engrossing.
