Make your love for Gloucestershire’s wildlife go 10x further – give £10 today and you could unlock £100

Right now, an incredible opportunity is within reach: we can apply for major grants worth hundreds of thousands. But there’s a catch: to unlock these funds, we need to match 10% of the total amount we’re applying for.

This 10% - £35,000 - must come from donations. That’s why we’ve created the 10x Wilder Fund, a special pot dedicated to unlocking these game-changing grants. Any donation you can send by the end of July to help us reach our £35,000 target could unlock up to ten times that amount!

This unique opportunity is thanks to something called the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). Landfill operators pay a tax for every tonne of waste buried. Some of this money goes into the fund and can only be used for projects that benefit the environment.

The money in the 10x Wilder Fund is critical to our ability to apply for these grants. Without it, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust couldn’t access these huge sums that make such a difference to our work restoring and reconnecting precious habitats across the county.

Previous projects for wildlife that have benefitted from unlocking grants through the LCF have included habitat work at Lower Woods, The Park and Simpson’s Meadow. We want to do more for wildlife and we now urgently need your help to top-up the 10x Wilder Fund to unlock more for exciting new projects for wildlife.

At a time when Gloucestershire’s nature and wildlife are under pressure like never before from development, the effects of climate change and shrinking natural resources, the impact this amount could have is enormous.

Your donation will be used wherever the need is greatest to support Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s work.

We will use the data supplied to process and record your donation. Your donation will be used to make a Contributing Third Party (CTP) payment to a landfill operator to secure a grant through the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF). CTP donations are not eligible for Gift Aid.
For auditing purposes, the LCF may require us to supply them with your details. At no point will they ‘own’ your data and any information supplied by us will be deleted by them on completion of the task in hand.
