Wildlife & Heritage experience guides

Location: Greystones Lane, Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, GL54 2EN

Opportunity type:

Available: Any day

Duration: From 23/04/2017 to 01/10/2018

Inspire others to love nature through our guided walks.

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in leading wildlife and heritage guided walks at Greystones Farm in Bourton-on-the-Water. The site is home to beautiful SSSI grassland and a scheduled ancient monument dating back to the Neolithic age. The River Eye runs through the reserve and provides a multitude of wildlife to discover including he much-threatened water vole and elusive otter.

We will provide training and a template to lead the guided walk so you don't have to be an expert, although we always appreciate any local knowledge you may have. Those confidence speaking to small groups of 10-15 would be desired.

We have no set commitment level but being available to run walks on at least two days a month would be preferred, this could be on a weekday or weekend. The guided walks run between April - September.
