Cotswold Water Park

What We Do

Our activities are based in the eastern section of the Cotswold Water Park, an area where we have 4 nature reserves: Whelford Pools, Edward Richardson & Phyllis Amey, Roundhouse Lake and Bryworth Lane.

We work closely with local communities and with volunteers including the Rotary Club in this area.

We are collaborating with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and with the Cotswold Water Park Trust on creation of suitable habitat for dragonflies and damselflies in this area.

This work takes place both on nature reserves and on private land. We provide advice for landowners for example on pond creation.

We also work with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and with the Cotswold Water Park Trust on shared volunteer activities. The Head of Thames Volunteers meet regularly and help out with habitat creation and with control of invasive species such as Himalayan Balsam.
