Community Action volunteering

What makes a Community Action volunteer?

A Community Action volunteer is a passionate individual who is keen to spread the messages of community action for nature throughout the county. They will share information and encouragement about how to take action to help wildlife, from making changes in your community or back garden to providing ways in which people can have a lighter impact on the planet.

You can be from any walk of life, as long as you care about looking after and promoting natures recovery.

If you'd like to make a positive difference for wildlife and the environment at work, in your community, or anywhere else, you might already be championing Team Wilder and just not know it yet!

About the role

The role is very flexible; you can attend events, lead activities, empower community groups and inspire local people to take meaningful action for nature in a variety of ways.

You will use your creativity, passion and experiences to show the public how they can incorporate wildlife, nature & environmentally friendly behaviours into almost anything they do.
