PROJECT: YOUTH IN THE WILD

Youth in the Wild is a fully funded project offering young people in Gloucestershire secondary schools* practical conservation sessions, outdoor nature activities, and in-school workshops that build confidence, resilience, and skills. Designed with youth input, the project reflects young people’s interests and supports them to develop skills and progress into the green career sector.

Each year, Youth in the Wild will give up to 3 secondary schools up to eight fully funded activities — including an assembly, a career workshop or reserve visit, 3 green skills practical workshops, and 3 wellbeing sessions, tailored for your chosen year groups. Your activities will be delivered over a full academic year by an experienced GWT learning team member with Enhanced DBS.

*this project is open to schools with a Free School Meals eligibility greater than 20%
