About the event

Salmonsbury Moot is a year long project to explore the history & nature of Greystones Nature Reserve. in collaboration with GWT & Corinium Museum. And this is a chance to get involved.

Visitors will get the chance to explore the reserve in new ways, discover its rich history, and take part in hands-on activities that celebrate both nature and heritage. Visitors will be able to

· Visit the Discovery Barn and Iron Age round house

· Try Iron Age activities like wattle & daub making, bread making on an open fire & drop spinning

· Come on guided walks around the reserve to discover both its nature and archaeology

· Explore with a children’s trail around the site.

· Go on a Walk Draw artist’s walk

· Special guests: Miserden Morris dancing beside the oak beside the Hundred Stone

This is a free event but we are asking people to register their interest so we have an idea of expected attendance on the day.
