About the event

A day of wild family fun in association with the Gloucestershire branch of Butterfly Conservation, The Big Butterfly Count 2026, is a chance for us to get an idea of how butterflies are coping in the current climate. As part of the day, we're asking people to count the butterflies they see around Crickley Hill.

As well as chance to get involved in some citizen science there will be guided butterfly safaris at 11am and 2.30pm and a quiz trail running throughout the event.
