You Don't Need A White Coat: "Wilder Frome" Citizen Science Community Event

Come to Stroud Cricket Club to find out more about Wilder Frome, get a feel for citizen science and get involved.
From 4pm till 6pm - The clubhouse will be open with information about the Severn Vale Catchment Partnership’s Wilder Frome Flagship Programme, The Dipper Recording Project, The Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, The Enivironment agency and more.
Outside in the Frome, you'll have a chance to observe and take part in citizen science including Water quality testing and inverterbrate monitoring
From 6pm until 7.30pm - Come for an evening walk alongside the river Frome to see the habitat creation work that has already started and what future works is planned. Local poet Jacqui Stearn will be joining us, to add a creative expression of wonder to the hard science which is happening day to day.
Throughout there will be a bar serving drinks and snacks, and free parking on site. The cricket club is also accessible from Stroud by foot and wheel along the A419 Cotswolds Way which follows the river Frome.
No need to book, just drop in whenever works for you.
