About the event

The county’s local community flooding officer will be telling us how the new team can support you with your queries for Severn Trent and around sewer flooding itself.

This new team hopes to connect people to water with raising awareness of sewer flooding and what it actually means.

GWT have asked Severn Trent to present this talk because surface water drainage can impact sewer drainage due to storm drains and sewers sometimes being connected in old systems. The work done by the Waterscapes project is working to relieve storm drain pressure which could also help relieve pressure on sewer systems.

If you would like to learn more about this hot topic then this is the talk for you!

This workshop is part of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s Waterscapes Week, celebrating the next year of the Waterscapes project. Thanks to the projects founding partners Intact Insurance, and partners the Environment Agency, and Gloucestershire County Council.
