About the event

Curious to learn more about the Geology of Crickley Hill ?  Come and join Steve Peacock, author of “Geology for Walkers”, for an evening’s stroll around the Hill, exploring the geology of this part of the Cotswolds.  Steve will explain the rocks and landforms and how they got to be where they are now, using plenty of illustrations and analogs. No prior knowledge of geology is required and there will be the opportunity to forage for your own samples and perhaps discover some fossils.  Distance to be walked is 1.3 km and the total time is expected to be about 90 minutes. Stout walking shoes are a must.
