Crickley Hill and Barrow Wake is a stunning site, just a short drive from Cheltenham and Gloucester.

It boasts spectacular views, a wide variety of special wildlife habitats and a rich history stretching back nearly 6,000 years.

Take a stroll through ancient woodland, limestone grassland habitats and explore the site's ancient history. Why not finish your visit with a snack at our cafe?

The site is managed in partnership by two charities, the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and National Trust. Crickley Hill and Barrow Wake was transferred to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust from Gloucestershire County Council in 2016, and since then our staff and volunteers have been working hard to improve the site for the benefit of wildlife and for people.
