GWT coronavirus update: during this difficult time, we know how important it is to get outdoors for fresh air, exercise and to immerse yourself in nature. However, you should only be heading out once a day to spend time outdoors and stay as close to home as possible; only visiting green spaces you can walk to from your home.

You should only be using your car for essential travel. Visiting a wild space or nature reserve - even if it is to take your daily exercise - does not count as essential travel.

Therefore, in line with Government advice we have sadly made the decision to close Crickley Hill to vehicles from 1 April.

The café, tramper-hiring service and toilets at Crickley Hill are now also closed.

Please visit our homepage for ideas and inspiration on how to stay connected to wildlife at home. Stay safe, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Crickley Hill when this current emergency has passed.
