Join Us and Make Gloucestershire’s Wildlife Your Business
Our bespoke business partnerships make vital contributions to our work protecting and restoring Gloucestershire’s wild places. We will work with you to create a fantastic mutually beneficial partnership that delivers purposefulness, fun, and success. You may be a large multi-national corporation looking for a major charity partnership, a local business owner interested in raising funds for wildlife, or you’re looking to become one of our Business Members; we can work with all, and many others in between!
Every corporate partnership is individual, so we offer a range of ways you can support our work, help fulfil your Corporate Social Responsibility requirements, engage your staff, and promote your strong visible commitment to conservation.
Join our other business partners and make an impact for our local wildlife where you can demonstrate your commitment to reversing wildlife decline and creating a Gloucestershire where nature thrives!
As we are a registered charity (No. 232580), some types of corporate support can qualify for tax relief - meaning that charitable donations can be deducted from the total profits of your business when calculating corporation tax. To find out more information please check on the HM Revenue and Customs website and seek professional advice.
We understand corporate support for charities means different things for different businesses; we are experienced in creating mutually beneficial relationships and will be delighted to have an exploratory chat to help guide you to the right fit for your individual company.

Sponsorship
We’re currently seeking corporate sponsors for some of our incredible forthcoming events and would love to hear from you if you’d interested. Sponsorship of events at Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust can deliver to your business:
- positive brand associations
- provide a platform for you to demonstrably give back to nature and your communities, in a way that is visible to your team, your customers, and your supply chain
- support your justification as to why you differentiate yourselves from your competitors
- bring an opportunity to deliver your ESG/Social Impact Goals/ Corporate Environment Strategy
Charity of the Year
Are you looking for a Charity of the Year partnership to focus your fundraising, volunteering, and awareness efforts on a local cause that will deliver significant impact? Having a Charity of the Year is brilliant for employee engagement and uniting your team to work together in creative ways for an inspiring cause. We’d love to hear from you and will be thrilled if you nominate us to your company for consideration. You’ll receive support from a dedicated Account Manager to help with your fundraising plans and share awareness with your teams of wildlife issues in Gloucestershire.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving also known as Give As You Earn, is an easy, convenient and tax-effective way to make a regular donation, so it costs you less to give more. It allows employees to donate to charity directly from their gross salary or pension, before tax is deducted https://www.gov.uk/payroll-giving. Your employer needs to set up and run the scheme, but we’d be delighted to tell you more about how they can offer Payroll Giving to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust to their team, if they’d like to get in touch with us. If your employer does not currently offer Payroll Giving, why not encourage them to set it up!
Corporate Fundraising
If you’d like to create a fundraising opportunity for your business, but don’t know where to begin, or you need advice on following fundraising best practice – we’d love to help you! Whether you’d like support in setting up a Charity Golf Day, you’d like to raise money in-house via a raffle, or you’d like a collection box for your front counter, we’re here to help. We’ll be by your side at every step, whether you need someone to say a few words, to attend a cheque presentation, or to thank and quantify for your team what your fundraising for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust will help us achieve.
Why Us?
From 1961 through to the present day we have been helping to shape the landscape so that it is better for wildlife, better for people and better for business. We have support from Gloucestershire’s residents with five percent of Gloucestershire’s households being members of GWT, one of the highest membership penetration rates of all The Wildlife Trusts in the UK.
A partnership with Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust would be aligning your business with a local charity with a big vision on how we can preserve, recreate and reconnect Gloucestershire’s wild places. We cannot do this alone - we need your businesses support!
