As we are a registered charity (No. 232580), some types of corporate support can qualify for tax relief - meaning that charitable donations can be deducted from the total profits of your business when calculating corporation tax. Charity of the Year
Are you looking for a Charity of the Year partnership to focus your fundraising, volunteering, and awareness efforts on a local cause that will deliver significant impact? Having a Charity of the Year is brilliant for employee engagement and uniting your team to work together in creative ways for an inspiring cause. We’d love to hear from you and will be thrilled if you nominate us to your company for consideration. You’ll receive support from a dedicated Account Manager to help with your fundraising plans and share awareness with your teams of wildlife issues in Gloucestershire.
Payroll Giving
Payroll Giving also known as Give As You Earn, is an easy, convenient and tax-effective way to make a regular donation, so it costs you less to give more. It allows employees to donate to charity directly from their gross salary or pension, before tax is deducted https://www.gov.uk/payroll-giving. Your employer needs to set up and run the scheme, but we’d be delighted to tell you more about how they can offer Payroll Giving to Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust to their team, if they’d like to get in touch with us. If your employer does not currently offer Payroll Giving, why not encourage them to set it up!

If you’d like to create a fundraising opportunity for your business, but don’t know where to begin, or you need advice on following fundraising best practice – we’d love to help you! We have support from Gloucestershire’s residents with five percent of Gloucestershire’s households being members of GWT, one of the highest membership penetration rates of all The Wildlife Trusts in the UK.
