Save our Warblers, Waders and Wildfowl
£4,000 successfully raised - a massive thank you
We are delighted to have raised the £4,000 needed for our Warblers, Waders and Wildfowl fundraising appeal. Thanks to those who donated, we will now receive £73,988 from Biffa Award to help turn Coombe Hill into a haven for these wetland birds. These funds will go towards restoring 241 acres of lowland meadows, fens, ditches, ponds and wet woodland to create nesting areas and improve vital foraging habitat for warblers, waders and wildfowl.
A massive thank you to all those who donated – this would not be possible without your help.
We urgently need your help to raise £4,000 for the Coombe Hill area
We have the opportunity to receive £73,988 from Biffa Award for a project for wildlife in the area of Coombe Hill. In order to secure this Landfill Communities Fund from Biffa Award, we urgently need to raise £4,000 from independent sources by 21st December to help turn this area into a haven for warblers, waders and wildfowl.
We can only claim the Biffa Award grant if we can raise the £4,000.
Help us create a haven for warblers, waders and wildfowl in the Coombe Hill area.
The Seven Hams is home to a wide diversity of plants and animals, with 1,930 species including 134 species of birds. Our project will restore 241 acres of lowland meadows, fens, ditches, ponds and wet woodland to create nesting areas and improve vital foraging habitat for warblers, waders and wildfowl.
We can’t do it without you
This is an extraordinary situation for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust in which your support will make a huge difference to wildlife.
We need to raise enough funds to secure the Landfill Communities Funding for the project and we can’t do it without you. So please, donate what you can afford.
